After a year or so experience I am happy to report the feeder works well, very well in fact. Prior to our purchase I called customer support asking if Flickers would be too heavy and not be able to get the suet. The staff, honest and friendly, could not say for sure. Well, we are pleased to report flickers can use the feeder with no problem.
Love this weather guard as it’s a great size to keep cylinders dry/protected from weather. However after 1 day if hanging, it was on the ground. Waiting for my replacement part so I can rehang it. Hopefully stays put this time!
I love the bird bath itself because it is sallow and flat. I would have preferred a clamp that does not hang off the railing but sits right on the railing. Can’t wait to put it out so see the birds reviews !
I had sparrows that took over my bluebird box. I closed up the box for and few days, moved it far from our bird feeder and installed the Sparrow Shield. The sparrows have not tried to get back into the box and the bluebirds are nesting again. Plus the bluebirds like to perch on the metal ring. So glad I bought the Sparrow Shield!

I ordered this as soon as it was back in stock. While waiting to receive it, a male sparrow took up residence and started nest building. I was worried I was too late this year, but after removing the sparrow nest, setting up the shield, I soon had a pair of bluebirds take over the box! I’m so glad I tried this! 💙
I absolutely love this feeder base! It’s exactly what I was looking for, as the normal cylinder feeders don’t have enough room around the edges for birds to perch if you’re using the large cylinder. This in fact has plenty of room for multiple birds at one time to eat. I’ve purchased this many months ago and it has been perfect throughout the winter when many birds were hungry at one time. I’m buying two more today!

Love these cylinders. I had a problem with squirrels eating my bird seed. These cylinders deter th and the birds are able to enjoy the seeds.
Quality product. Grackles found it first. It's funny to see them try to hang on. Mini Woodpecker has now found it and he Loves it! Sorry I do not know the Species, but he is my friend!!

Nature Niche 2 lb. cylinders fit and work well for our existing cylinder bird feeder. Prefer the shell less cylinders because our dogs eat the shells. I do wish free shipping came with a smaller order. Must order at least 8 cylinders at a time for free shipping. Cylinders are very reasonably priced compared to other suppliers. All of our birds love the seeds, however, so does Mr. Squirrel. I don't see the doves using the feeder, but blue jays, finches, woodpeckers, robins, etc. all partake. Will most certainly order again when our current large supply is exhauster. Shipping receipt time is reasonable - approximately within one week.
Birds love it. Squirrels stay away from it.
