Product Details:

Quick connect reloading; No need to unscrew each time.
NOTE: This feeder has been redesigned so that the center post has an oval slot rather than an open hook to help prevent mammals from detaching the feeder from the roof. The easiest way to reload is to take the whole feeder down, place the base on a flat surface, slide on a fresh seed cylinder and reattach the roof by tilting it and aligning the hook and oval slot.

I have been very happy with the cylinder feeder. The only thing that I have found is that when the birds are feeding they manage to make the parts come off. I have lost the bolt and screw that attached the base to the pole. Order another one and hopefully this will stay in place. Oh and the squirrels have figured out that they live the spicy food.

Wasn’t sure

At first I thought it was a little flimsy, wasn’t much to it, I just thought it would be made stronger but the more I used it it does fit the bill of what I needed the birds are happy with it so I guess it’s really okay 👍🏻

I liked it very much my birds are just now finding it. It is going to save someone from filling up a feeder all the time. Now I hope the bears don't destroy it like they did my other ones.

Easy to use and it works

Really like the tube approach and the product does what is needed in keeping squirrels off of the feeder.

I like it a lot. The squirrels are trying hard to get the roof off...keeping fingers crossed it!

Great feeder

While it took a few days for the birds to start using this feeder, once they started they have been going back daily. I put this out as an alternative for the smaller birds that often get chased away by the starlings and cowbirds. My finches use this. The starlings try but cannot easily get to the food. The cowbirds do eat occasionally but not often so my finches can eat undisturbed.

Great bird feeder

I had one many years ago and left it behind when I moved. The birds love it, as many as 3 have been seen feeding on it at time.

Simple design and easy to use

The cylinder feeder is well made and easy to assemble. I am still waiting to see birds come visit and feed on the safflower seeds.

what a seedy product, really for the birds. Ha Ha. I have used this method for bird feeding for about 2 weeks & I am glad I decided to use the cylinder seed cakes. Now that it's getting colder, I appreciate that it takes less time to put the bird food out. Also, I am 67 and this method is physically easier. This is an excellent seedy product! Ha-again.
