Returnable Items
You may return items within 45 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. We do not accept used items as returns. A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns. Do not send items back to the manufacturer—see address below under Shipping Info.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
· All wildlife food, additives, and cleaning products, including but not limited to bagged seed, mealworms, suet, seed cylinders, seed cakes, seed ornaments, nectar, and micronutrient- or enzyme-based products.
· All human food, beverages, or health or personal care products, including but not limited to bagged, bottled, and jarred items; candy; tea; coffee; and bath and body products.
· Clothing or other personal apparel, including but not limited to socks, bibs, scarves, and headbands
· Gift cards
· Downloadable software
· All clearance, final sale, and scratch and dent items
Refunds
Refunds are processed after we inspect your returned item and notify you of approval. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within a few days.
Partial refunds are at our discretion and may apply for:
· Books with signs of use
· Items not in their original condition or missing parts
· Returns made more than 45 days after delivery
Missing a Refund?
First, confirm your returned shipment has been delivered to us and check your email for approval notice. Please check your bank or credit card statement, then contact your bank or credit card company for processing updates. If the issue persists, email us at cs@nature-niche.com
Replacements
We are happy to work with you to replace defective, damaged, or missing items! All packages and contents should be inspected carefully upon receipt. Defective, damaged, or missing items or parts must be reported within 7 days from when carrier tracking shows your item was delivered. Be sure to look through all interior packaging materials carefully for small parts or other missing items. If there is a problem, notify us immediately at cs@nature-niche.com
Retain the shipping box, packaging materials, and defective or damaged items until we have finished coordinating with the manufacturer or the carrier claims process is complete. We do not take back defective or damaged items as returns.
Please email us the following:
1) A thorough description of the problem. If you have questions, please call us at 989-423-1477. We are happy to help you troubleshoot!
2) A specific inventory of items received, damaged, or missing from the shipment. Include quantities where appropriate.
3) Photos of:
a. all sides of the shipping box,
b. the inside of the shipping box,
c. closeup of the shipping label,
d. each item that is damaged or defective,
e. interior packaging materials, and
f. items received by mistake, if applicable.
We require these photos to process a damaged shipment claim on your behalf and provide replacement products, troubleshoot problems, determine defects or source of the issue, coordinate with the manufacturer for replacement products and parts, and correct our inventory. Providing photos upfront helps us resolve your issue as quickly as possible!
If the item(s) are no longer in stock, we will issue a refund per the section above. If you desire a refund rather than a replacement, please specify this in your correspondence.
Exchanges
We offer exchanges to in-store customers only. Exchanged items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging. We do not accept used items as exchanges. If you need to exchange an item online, please follow the above returns process and place a new order for the desired item(s).

Gift Returns
If marked as a gift, you'll receive store credit for returned items, once they have been received and approved. Otherwise, the refund will go to the original purchaser via their original payment method.

Shipping costs are your responsibility and non-refundable. As long as the product is unused and in its original packaging, we will accept a return within 45 days of purchase. We can issue a return label via email, and upon receipt of the item/items, we will issue a refund minus the $7 return fee and cost of original shipping, if applicable. We do not allow refunds on used products or any type of wildlife food, additives, and cleaning products; human food, beverages, or health or personal care products; clothing or other personal apparel; gift cards; and all clearance, final sale, and scratch and dent items.
