The ultimate Oriole feeder will satisfy the hungriest of orioles with an abundance of orange halves, jelly, and plenty of nectar! When Orioles arrive, they are starving and quickly consume what's on other feeders. When the feeders are empty, they move elsewhere looking for more to eat. This won't happen to you with the new Songbird Essentials Ultimate Oriole Feeder.

Feed nectar, jelly and oranges all at the same time.

Built in ant moat keeps ants out of the Oriole's treats.

Holds 4 halves of real oranges in such a way that ant moat can still be filled with water and be effective.

Holds 1 quart of nectar which is twice as much as other flat top nectar feeders.

Holds 4 times the jelly as other nectar and jelly combo feeders.

Easy to fill and clean - dishwasher safe.

12.00 (D) x 12.00 (W) x 2.50 (H) inches

Attractive Feeder

Birds are happy to feed here! It’s very sweet to see two birds eating opposite of each other— the large size of this feeder makes communal feeding possible

Excellent Oriole Feeder

My oriole feeder is great! It offers 3 options for feeding. Places for oranges, jelly snd nectar. This feeder is visited daily sometimes multiple times.

Love it! I put the feeder out the first week of May. On May 9th I had 3 orioles feeding on it. The cardinals also like the grape jelly and hummingbirds have stopped by. Bonus!!

Ultimate Oriole Feeder

This is a great feeder. I barely got it out when Orioles arrived. My only criticism is that the cover sits on top. You need to be careful with the nectar to avoid a spill.

Very good quality feeder

Very good quality feeder. One suggestion is to make the spikes for the oranges longer. When grackles and blackbirds get on the feeder they knock the oranges off every time.

Baltimore Orioles, Mocking birds and Humming birds

All three of these birds are enjoying the feeder. Our porch is very busy. Only problem is limited seating for people

Very smart, well made. Three options, all do not need to be implemented to be effective (fruit, jelly, nectar) Worked for me right away.

Great Feeder!

The oriole feeder has worked out great! The orioles took some time to get comfortable using it, but we now see them regularly. They really enjoy the jelly and the hummingbirds are enjoying the sugar water. It is an added bonus that this product is made in the USA!

Wow!

Best Oriole feeder on the mkt. I was not sure if they'd drink from it but both female and males are! Wish the jelly ports were bigger but it's a great purchase!

The best

This one’s the best because it holds fruit, jelly, nectar AND, since ants can’t get to ours, we use the ant moat for dried mealworms.

delivery of feeder very timely

i had ordered an oriole feeder from another supplier on june 18th and it still has not been delivered so i ordered one from you which arrived in a short time. it is easy to clean but unfortunately it was not visited by any birds. i will try again next spring at an earlier time. i have to say we have a lot of wildflowers (natural and planted by us) which probably is attracting the orioles.

oriole feeder

The birds don't seem to know the sugar water is in the bottom part, they don't drink it .They go to my hummingbird feeder to get sugar water. When it rains i have to take it inside .About the only thing they like is fruit preserve, placed in cups or on top

Bright and Pretty

Ilike the feeder-it covers all the bases-nectar, fruit and jelly. Have not seen an oriole yet but could be missing something. Have not seen a hummingbird but they are in the area. mjseiler

Perfect Oriole feeder!

This feeder has it all! It is well made, easy to clean and bright orange! I may have ordered it too late, but I'll keep it out for a few weeks. I'm sure this feeder will help me entice those beautiful birds one day!

Very pleased

It's large and eye-catching, which is exactly what I want. I'm hoping to attract hooded orioles again this season, having finally succeeded last year after many tries. They're due to arrive in the coming couple of weeks, so we'll see how they take to it. But they can't miss it. It is quite heavy if you're fully loading it, including nectar and oranges (the jelly is light). Be sure to have a sturdy support for it. Lastly, I had one little issue that was promptly resolved, so if you run into any problems, don't hesitate to contact Nature Niche. They are very responsive and easy to work with, and they provide excellent customer service.

multi-puprose feeder

I have yet to try out all the features - the only downside I see is that you could never keep this full enough of nectar without the nectar going bad here in the southwest. I have to change my hummingbird nectar daily and with this feeder holding so much nectar, not sure that will work - the nectar portion could have been more shallow or had individual cups under the holes. I won't get orioles but I'm seeing what else it might attrack. Interesting concept!

Thanks for the feedback! Here are a couple of products to consider, to help you with the problem of nectar spoiling quickly:

LOVE This Feeder. So Glad I Found It!

The design of this feeder is just ingenious and I love that it is made in the USA. It has space for three different kinds of Oriole-foods to attrack these birds. I LOVE it! Will order it again for gifts.

Good Design

Nice feeder, Bullock's orioles took right to it. Subtracted a star because you have to remove the top to check nectar level. Would be nice if base was lightly tinted orange so you can see through. Still happy with purchase though, and would order it again.

Thrilled with the feeder

I thought the one hooded oriole visit was going to be it, but others have shown up and are making a habit of the place. Thank you again.

Nice design, easy to clean.

We had never seen a Hooded Oriole in our yard (Sonoma County, CA) until this July. He was so brilliantly colored that we decided to try this feeder to entice him to hang around more. It worked! He originally came because he was attracted to our hummingbird feeders, but the large holes in this feeder are better sized for his beak. So far he prefers the sugar water to the grape jelly and orange slices that we offer simultaneously on the same feeder. The built-in ant moat is a nice feature too.

Bees?

Absolutely love this feeder! Orioles love it so much I have to refill it every evening. But I need help! Is there anything I can do to keep bees from taking over in the jelly holders? Would love any tips/tricks to safely make that part less attractive to bees. Definitely not into harming bees in any way. I keep moving it, but so far that is a very temporary solution. Also the jelly is the main attraction for the orioles so I'd like to keep the jelly holders full. Thanks!

So glad you are enjoying this feeder!  Regarding bee use of the feeder, unfortunately, there aren't any guards for the jelly or nectar ports that would simultaneously keep bees out and also allow the open mouth feeding movements of the orioles.  I would encourage you to review your landscape and try to identify what type(s) of bees are using the feeder.  Then try to find ways to incorporate native wildflowers into your landscape that are used by those bees and bloom across as much of the growing season as possible.  Some bees are generalists, and some bees are specialists and only use certain species or types of flowers.  If you can meet their nectar and pollen needs with vegetation native to your area, you might see reduced bee use of the oriole feeder.  Native plants will attract native insects that the orioles like to eat, so it could be a win-win-win for you, the bees, and your backyard birds!
