The Squirrel Buster Plus keeps out squirrels and some nuisance birds by using an adjustable weight mechanism that closes access to the seed. Seed Buster Tray Feeder and Seed Catcher - This tray eliminates ground mess by catching dropped seed. Attracts ground-feeding birds like cardinals and doves by providing a roomier place to feed. Note: To keep squirrels from accessing this tray make sure it is installed at least 4 feet above the ground and 8' - 10' from anywhere they can jump from.
Custom Erva Pole Setup for this Feeding Station Includes:
- A twister ground socket for securing the pole 20" into the ground.
- Sufficient pole sections to put this feeder at a height that is easy to fill but still makes it squirrel proof.
- Installed pole height is 66"
This feeder can easily be taken down for filling and cleaning by lifting it off the pole adaptor or lifting both the feeder and the pole adaptor off the pole.
DISCLAIMER: This feeder will NOT deter Grackles, Starlings, juvenile Red/Douglas/Flying Squirrels, Chipmunks, Possums, Bears, Deer, or Raccoons. Please bring your feeder in at night to prevent night visitors from emptying and destroying your feeder.
If you do have a raccoon in your neighborhood you can still use this feeding station with the help of a raccoon baffle.
