I love them. I have been using these feeders for years. Only type I will use. They stay cleaner longer. So easy to clean and refill.

Hummingbird Problem solved

Bees and wasps have been dominating our feeder and chasing away the hummers. This feeder is fantastic. The bees cannot reach the nectar and the hummingbirds love it. Thank you, Martha, for a great recommendation. We are very pleased as are our tiny winged friends.

No more wasps and bees

This feeder is better than most for a few reasons. Mainly I bought it because with my existing feeder wasps and bees were making it hard for the hummingbirds to eat. With this feeder the nectar is too far away for insects but not hummingbirds. I put the old feeder to the side for the wasps and bees and the hummingbirds have the new feeder to themselves. It is easy to clean, holds a lot of nectar, and has a hook that flexes for an easier time hanging it up. It’s very popular with our local hummingbirds

Almost Perfect feeder

This is the best feeder I have found. It is easy to fill & clean, doesn’t leak, and the hummers like it. Only downside is the bees still congregate on the underside.

Made well. Raccoon proof apparently but not entirely bee proof as advertised.

Humming bird feeder

So far it's working great. It's very easy to fill and my hummers are loving it.

Great product

The birds love them. Easy to fill and clean. Like the large bottle for storage in refrigerator and I have a lot of birds and it lasts all day. I have an all red one one with yellow flowers and the birds seem to like both. Not sure about durability yet because I've only had for a few weeks. Easy to clean which is really nice.

I’ve had many hummingbird feeders, this one is much easier to clean and fill

hummigbird feeder

I love it easy to clean no leaking. the perch on was side was a bit bent but I ran hot water o it and tried to reshape it, seems pretty good now. hummingbird went to it but didn't try it. We'll see what happens, this year the hummies are not as many ,only 1 or 2.last year at this time had 4. The weather has been cooler at night than usual. .

Hummingbird feeder

The feeder is super easy to clean. This is an important feature when it comes down to birds. I would give as gifts to others to enjoy. Would recommend to purchase. And, best criteria, made in the USA!

Simple

They are rather plain looking,compared to the ones I bought in The hardware store and Walmart. Easy to fill, hang, and clean. I wish I had bought these in the beginning. The birds like them & not having yellow flowers or centers they aren’t drawing the bees like the others.

Well made, easy to clean but could do without petals that harbor mold. Top came apart in less than 3 months, it was glued onto glass jar. It fell 2 feet onto concrete floor but didn't break.

Thanks for your feedback! I've talked to the manufacturer about the top of the jar coming unglued, FYI. Sounds like in some cases, they just aren't applying enough glue. Were you able to fix it? Applying hot glue liberally to the glass bottle top, replacing the cap, and holding firmly for a minute or two is what they recommended. If that doesn't work or you don't have a hot glue gun, I'm happy to contact them on your behalf and request a replacement jar/top. Just let me know...
On the petal mold issue, are you taking advantage of the dishwasher option for weekly cleaning? It's dishwasher top rack safe and an easy way to maintain this feeder. If you have mold forming under the petals, I suggest popping them off and doing a full disinfection with a 10% bleach solution, so you are starting with a clean slate. Hummer Heaven

Filled my JB’s 16 oz feeder on May 8 and during a late season Pa. rain and snow storm had a pair of hummingbirds sitting at the feeder most of the day, despite the weather.

Easy to clean!

So easy to clean and refill. Super important to keep the hummingbird’s sugar water fresh and free of mold. This feeder makes it a lot easier.

I have two Dr. JB hummingbird feeders with the red flowers. My red flowers have a elongated piece on them to insert the flower into the feeder. It comes in one piece. Mine have become warn and need replacing, but I cannot find replacement flowers with this feature. Other than the flowers, my feeders are in great shape and I would like to keep using them. Are there any replacements for the types of flowers that come with my feeders?

What is a MILD bleach to water solution?

A good disinfecting solution to aim for is 10% bleach, letting bird feeders soak for 10-15 minutes fully submerged. For most household bleach products, that translates to a 1/2 cup of bleach per 1 gallon of water.
