The popular Oasis feeder is now available with dove guards (2" x 2" openings for cardinals and smaller birds).

This handcrafted feeder is made from recycled plastic that will last a lifetime. This bird feeder features large trays to encourage ground-feeding birds like cardinals, grosbeaks, and blue jays to perch and use the feeder too; but the dove guards keep mourning doves and larger birds like pigeons at bay. 

Product Details: 

  • Includes a hanging cable or can be pole/post mounted. (5 Piece Feeder Pole Set with Twist In Ground Socket is a great option for pole mounting)
  • 2 Removable tray bottoms and windows for easy cleaning with perforated flooring made from 22 gauge galvanized steel for good drainage.
  • Dove guards are removable with a screw driver; however, they do not need to be removed to clean the feeder.
  • Made from 100% recycled plastic.
  • Dimensions: 10" W x 12.5" L x 9" H
  • Holds three quarts of seed.

The bird feeder is really nice, well made. It did not take the little birds long to get used to it, unfortunately there has been smaller doves squeeze their way in. Also the smaller starlings, which are very aggressive. I just keep shooing them away.
The removable bottoms are great. The screens do get residue from bird droppings, so it is probably best to buy the cleaner recommended on the site.

If the starling continue to be an issue you can try to use a safflower or nutrasaff seed mix. The tough shells will be harder for the starling to break and they typically do not enjoy the taste. Cardinals do enjoy safflower, so it's a great way to attract them into this feeder!

Great Feeder!! LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!

My terror is over with the White Winged Doves, they can not get on this feeder, thank goodness, I am saving big bucks on my bird seed, the terror is over!!! This is a great feeder and very,very well made and a little on the heavy side but I hang it on a shepherds hook and it is fine, it is easy to clean and put seed in this feeder and my birds love it, finches, bluebirds, cardinals, gold finches etc.
but other big birds like blue jays, white wing doves any big birds can not feed on this feeder, I like the fencing on it that keep big birds off of this feeder!!!
I am glad that I found this feeder and very pleased with it also!!! I highly recommend this feeder who has problems with big birds like I did with White Winged Doves and other big birds, smaller birds love, love it and so do I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it

Best bird feeder I ever owned! The Cardinals love it. The Doves hate it. What's great about this feeder. There's no perch for the doves to land on except the top. They try to flap their wings to knock the seed out, but they can't
perch. Construction is excellent, easy to fill and the mesh trays are easy to clean. Don't hesitate buy this feeder.. I bought a plastic mount for the bottom so I can mount it on a pole, that is not included.

Sorry, doves!

Works like a champ! Local dove population not too happy but they're like vacuum cleaners, eating me out of house and home! I don't use the clear plastic separators so the little guys can hop all the way through. This feeder is worth the money!

Best feeder so far!

I expected the birds to be cautious at first, but they went through the dove guard almost immediately. The large quantity of seed kept them fed the whole week I was away. It was full of snow when I returned, but as long as I'm home to clear it away, it shouldn't be a problem. I love this feeder!
