Mini Magnet Hanging Recycled Feeder

I have been looking for a birdfeeder that would accommodate the larger birds as well as the smaller birds and this one sure fits the bill. I was a little put off by the price tag, $144. But it is so nicely made and will stand up to the weather. Another bonus is that it is made from recycled plastic, and who doesn’t like the idea of reducing waste. The design of the bottom tray being able to fold open to clean is fantastic and my big birds are all very happy. The next one I’m looking at is the smaller shelf one that attaches to your window. If you’re on the fence, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

Just what we’ve been looking for. Will be great for our Cardinals.

I love this feeder. Yes, sometimes you need a squirrel buster feeder if you hang your feeder from, or close, to trees or buildings or you are discouraging larger birds. But for an open feeder this one can not be beat. It’s recycled plastic. Easy to clean. Holds enough seed for nearly a week at our home feeder. Easy to open the top and fill. Hang or buy a adapter to place on a pole. The top won’t blow off in wind. The seed tray keeps a lot of feed from falling to the ground and it’s easy to tip the tray down to clean it off when needed. It is on the heavy side, at about 10 # filled with seed, so it’s best to hang from a heavy duty arm or on top of a sturdy pole. Erva poles are fantastic and are sold by Natures Niche, too.

We had a small tree snap off on our driveway. The tree cutter came out and took the rest of the tree down and made a beautiful four foot high platform for the feeder. It's a hit with all the birds, chipmunks and squirrels! :) It's so sturdy!

The big feeder is exactly what I was looking for. I love it! The tray underneath captures all the seed shells so it doesn't make a mess. Big enough for even my blue Jay's. Great quality. Will last forever. Shipped very quickly. Thank you Nature Niche!

I had to return this one because I ordered the wrong version, I needed the post mount. So this review is for the post mount version. Same quality material as the hanging one. Love the ease of cleaning the screen by just sliding it out. Love the tan color also

I have purchased a lot of different bird feeders. . By far this is the best one I have ever purchased. I really like that it is made of a different material other than plastic or wood. It should last a life time. It’s easy to clean and looks great. If there was a draw back it would be it’s heavy. It’s so solidly made. There was a lot of thought that went into coming up with the design. I like that it keeps the seed dry and the tray in longer than most. It’s just the best.
