Raise your own butterflies with this high quality butterfly habitat.

Measures 12" x 12" x 24" and is large enough for a medium-sized potted host plant.

Is completely collapsible and washable for excellent butterfly rearing hygiene--be sure to disinfect with a 10% bleach solution and thoroughly rinse and dry completely between batches of caterpillars. 

Has a clear side for easy viewing and a zipper on one side for easy opening.

Parasite-resistant screen is white with green piping. Mesh allows airflow yet keeps out predators and parasitoids.

Butterfly habitat

I purchased the medium size butterfly habitat. I found some tiny caterpillars last week and put them in the habitat. I now have two chrysalis pods hanging in it today! There are two big monarch caterpillars on there yet to build theirs. They are still munching on milk weed leaves. Thank love you, Martha at Nature Niche!

Great product and amazing service

I ordered the Medium Butterfly Habitat for the assisted living facility where I work. We'd received a number of Monarch caterpillars in small containers. We moved them into the Habitat and they all reached maturity and formed chrysalises. The habitat provided an easy viewing opportunity and made releasing the hatched Monarchs very safe and easy. On top of that, the Habitat was hand-delivered to my home only a couple of days after I'd placed the order.
