Charley Harper (American, 1922–2007) painted animals of all kinds in his unmistakable minimal realist style, portraying their essence with geometric shapes and vivid colors. With Mystery of the Missing Migrants, Harper commented on the disappearance of Neotropical birds from their migratory nesting sites in North American woodlands. He once wrote, “Each April, I listen anxiously to the dawn chorus for the return of my favorite, that world-class flutist, the Wood Thrush.”

This sticker mural was easy to install. I did use a level which helped quite a bit to keep the lines parallel. We placed the birds on a wall just as pictured on the box. Take note of the size if you choose to do the same. We put it in my son's nursery. It looks great - I'm so happy with how it turned out. Side note: this shop also sells a Charley Harper Birdwatching board game that we purchased in the same order and have LOVED playing it with our kiddos.
Vivid, beautifully detailed stickers. Applied them to large windows to cut down on bird strikes, used a credit card to force out air bubbles. Even so, application was relatively easy and they brighten up the view on dreary days.
