This safflower seed cylinder is the perfect way to feed your favorite bird species! Safflower tastes bitter to squirrels, so they tend to leave it alone, if there are other good things to eat in the area. Besides squirrels, safflower also tends to deter grackles and starlings with its bitter taste and hard hull, although some individuals may adapt and eat it with time or in desperation.

Great to have on Hand

I was running out of safflower seeds and thought I had better order some because my feeders would be empty in just a few days. I have 3. I ordered and there they were on my porch within 24 hrs. Super delivery time. Very reasonable price. and great Service. Great to have extras on hand.

Safflower cylinders are the way to go to drastically cut down the numbers of Starlings and Grackles while still providing a quality food that attracts finches, woodpeckers, nuthatches, chicadees and cardinals and more. I promised an update on a previous purchase of a case of 12 safflower cylinders that were significantly damaged in shipping.
