Every bird that comes to our bird station loves these cylinders and we are happy that we have them. They last quite a long time however I do recommend taking them in when you have a bad rain because it makes them soft and then the birds just go crazy and eat it even faster! We now have 15 cylinders so I think we’re pretty good for a while!

Highly recommend. The price may seem a lot but when you think about it…. I already went through 2 20lb bags of black sunflower seeds and these cylinders look like they have a few weeks if not longer ahead of them. You are saving in the long run.
I have several bird species at my feeders all the time. On average I’ll have like 25 birds here at once and they all get along pretty well. Again… I highly recommend!

Our cylinders are bound together with either animal or vegetable gelatin. They hold up well in light rain; however, they will fare much better with a cylinder feeder with a roof for heavy rain or snow.
