This was definitely worth the purchase

This was definitely worth the purchase. Last year I lost all my monarch caterpillars to predators, but this year, once I saw the babies appear, I put the plant into the net house. This helped them survive the predators and I was actually able to see them build their cocoons and then hatch! It was an amazing experience and so wonderful to watch. It was easy to set up quickly (once I saw wasps hovering around) and it was really great to have the one side with the clear vinyl, to be able to clearly see thru. One of the babies built their cocoon right on the top edge of that side. :+) I highly recommend this product.

What a display this enclosure makes!

The large enclosure really is large! Be aware of the measurements and the space you have planned for it. Easy to see though. Nice long zipper. Lightweight. Perfect for butterfly viewing.

Perfect enclosure for raising caterpillars

This net housing is the right choice for me in raising caterpillars. Lots of ventilation and protection. Plus Very climbable walls for newly emerged adults. My only problem was anchoring the house in windy conditions. I ended up using bungee cords to secure it to our umbrella pole.

Large butterfly habitat

The large butterfly habitat was perfect for my monarch. It saw her through all the stages. She emerged, and a day later I brought the habitat outside, unzipped the opening and after she warmed up in the sunshine she flew away. It was an awesome experience. I loved the habitat.

Isn’t this confining for the wandering stage of the caterpillar?

Nature Niche

No, this is a very large habitat and the caterpillars wander around it until they find their chosen spot. Some people will prop up sticks or other solid objects to give them further options.
