Artist Molly Hashimoto is known for her block prints of natural images including birds, trees, and wildflowers. Her prints, hand-tinted with watercolor, are crisp and bright portrayals of the nature around her. Mountainsides, foothills, and meadows bring the viewer amid the trees and into the fresh air. In addition to her own artistry, Hashimoto is dedicated to connecting people to nature through hands-on art experiences. Camera and sketchbook in hand, she can be found leading aspiring artists out of doors for plein air painting or into a studio for a block-printing or watercolor workshop.
