Mesh Feeder

The Finches and Woodpeckers love this feeder. I mix Peanut chips and Sunflower chips in the feeder. Below the Redheaded Woodpecker is visiting the feeder.

My downy woodpeckers won’t leave this alone be

My downy woodpeckers won’t leave this alone:) I put in hazelnuts, peanuts, cashews and pistachios. A fairly expensive mix but a joy to watch them enjoy it. I’m very happy with this purchase and glad I bought the fitted dome top too. The sparrows were taking over their upside down suet believe it or not, and had gotten quite good at it too. They are trying to go after this feeder too but the woodpecker s are in a better position to fight for it! When I took down the upside down suet I didn’t want to take away my treats for my 4 downy woodpeckers , so I’m glad to have this for them. I never even heard of a mesh feeder before till I looked up ideas for getting rid of sparrows. Nothing is quarenteed, but I think the sparrows reward is small. Certainly a quality bird feeder at the best price I found over all the sites. Thank you.
