I just installed mine a little over 3 weeks ago. So far no bears have come to my yard but i know in due time they will. Overall i am happy with the product. Pretty straight forward to build. I really like the ability to raise and lower the bracket with the feeders through the lever system. I like the fact that the feeders can be clipped to the carabiners that are welded to the top of the frame for extra stability and support.

We have tried a lot of different feeders, but the squirrels always managed to figure them out, break them or chew into them. With our new Squirrel Buster feeder, we have already seen a lot less squirrels because they are giving up. A few of them still try to hang on but cannot get any food unless a little falls to the ground. We use a Shepherd Hook and the squirrels do climb it but give up when they cannot get to the food. We are super pleased with this smaller version of the feeder. Highly recommended! 😁

I was going through large amounts of birdseed because of the squirrel raiders. Since purchasing the squirrel proof feeder the rascals have not been able to access the bird seed. The squirrel baffles didn't stop them but this new feeder has. Thank you!

Took the birds a while to start using. Squirrels haven't shown any interest in it 🙂 . Product is well made . Love that it easy to take apart to fill and clean as needed.

I bought the Squirrel Buster Mini about 8 weeks ago and liked it so much I came back for the standard. I especially love the small size of these feeders. Just enough for a day or two (keeps seed super fresh); they are easy to fill; easy to clean; and the perfect size for toting in every night to keep the night marauders at bay. Before I retired, I had a large bird feeder system, lots of arms for lots of good sized feeders and heavy duty raccoon baffle. I had special hangers to accommodate the end of a broom handle so I could bring down the feeders to refill and reposition. These little squirrel busters are so much easier!! and just as enjoyable. And just this week I switched from black-oiled to sunflower hearts and safflower seed and now I have many more birds and no junk on the ground. Super happy with these feeders!!! Perfect for little ole me...

Love this feeder. We have problems with both Squirrels and Grackles attacking feeders and dumping seeds. So far, tge Squirrels are foiled. Plus I adjusted the mechanism to hopefully feter grackles. Fingers crossed.

The feeders my birds prefer. I love this company and their feeders. They really stand behind their feeders and will replace parts at no cost if needed.

No problems with squirrels with this feeder. They are very determined rascals!

We have only been using the feeder for 3 days, but the birds started using it within minutes as they are used to feeding at that location. If anything, the small finch traffic has increased and now they are competing for two seed feeders. The feeder works for cardinals and rose breasted grosbeaks also. We did see one grey squirrel give it a try, but was not successful. Until we repositioned a baffle below the feeder, however, an adult red squirrel was able to hang on to the shepherd’s crook with its hind feet, then reach into the feeder and extract seeds one by one. Once the metal baffle was back in place, there have been no more problems. The feeder has not been raccoon tested yet, but we do have it on a secured snap hook just in case. Overall, the feeder is sturdy, a great design, and the birds love it.

Love this feeder! Never found anything that works as well as this feeder. Our grey squirrels gave up and now the birds can eat.

Love this bird feeder, hate wasting money on bird food for the squirrels! This feeder solves the problem.

It took me over two years to decide to make this purchase, and even then I bit my lip in the process because I still think it’s way too expensive for a bird feeder. I wish for this company to make a more budget friendly version. However, the squirrels that run my yard look way to big for their own good and I know that they can eat through my typical bird feeders within a day, and bird seed is expensive!
Upon arrival, I liked how thick the plastic is, it seems very sturdy and the product as a whole seems thoughtfully made. I live in a rainy environment and have seen how moisture just seeps into my bird feeders making it unsafe for birds, and I truly feel that this product will minimize this problem, plus it looks simple to clean without hidden gaps where bacteria can form. The birds seem to like the distance between each perch because being too close can make the birds territorial and peck at each other.
I can now rest in piece knowing the seed is going towards birds instead of the squirrels.

Kept my squirrels out. First one I saw jumped on top of feeder and tried to get in from top and then took off. Second one jumped into tree but never jumped on bird feeder and just left. Birds are eating. I think it is the food you gave me that is keeping squirrels away. I am sure the squirrels would have figured a way to eat if not for the bird food.

It's the most effective squirrel-proof feeder I've experienced. It's well made and easy to fill.

I bought this feeder with another Brome Feeder to use on a double shepherds hook. It is the perfect length for the hook. The squirrels have given up trying to get into it.

i got interested in feeding the birds about two years ago. My husband and I encountered the ingenious squirrel problem right away. Watching squirrels analyze how to overcome our defenses was greatly entertaining, but also humbling and frustrating. There always seemed to be one squirrel who figured it out and taught the others. So we began to buy squirrel baffles and feeders that were supposed to let the birds have a chance to get some food.

After spending too much money on multiple failed options, I bought a squirrel buster standard. It was more expensive but I fell in love. Combined with a baffle it became a feeder for just the birds! A month later I bought the squirrel buster mini. And this year I purchased two more from Nature Niche as they had the best price (so much better than Amazon).

The birds love these feeders, I love watching the birds. The squirrels, however, don't love them. They have to settle on looking longingly up at the unattainable as they settle for the leftovers on the ground.

Had a wire cage before this one and the squirrels bend the cover. This one so far is holding up great! Thank you for making a much better feeder. Warren

I had an old Squirrel Buster that lasted 16 years but decided to replace it with a smaller one and I can’t say enough about these feeders. They do “bust” the squirrels and save the seed for the birds.

LOVE the challenge this gives the squirrels. Fun to watch as they keep trying, but I never see them successfully get the food!!!
