This dark green, large 21-inch hanging disk squirrel baffle is the perfect way to deter pesky squirrels from raiding your bird feeder! When hung from a tree branch, the baffle's design will make it difficult for squirrels to climb onto your feeder.

Using your baffle: Best results are obtained when the baffle is 12 inches or more lower than the branch and 4 feet away from the tree trunk. Bottom of the feeder must be at least 4 feet from the ground. For hanging up feeders, place the squirrel baffle above the feeder, making sure the feeder is placed 8 feet away from anything a squirrel could jump off from.

Squirrel Be Gone

This is so easy to stall and works great. I used thin stainless steel cable to suspend it from a tree branch.

foiled squirrels!

This baffle has been quite effective in keeping squirrels off my hanging platform feeder. I have watched several squirrels make their way to the top surface, only to slip off as they tried to nose their way to the feeder below. Its slippery and tippy surface is perfect in design, and because it is nearly flat, one does not see it in the landscape. The extra wide size also helps shield the feeder from rain. Very happy with this baffle.

Hi, I waited this long to see if it worked. For going on 3 weeks now I have laughed as the squirrels face planted in the dirt. This week they have continued to hang from the branch and try reaching for the feeder still with no success. A couple squirrels tried walking around the middle of the baffle and as soon as they went for the edge down they went to face plant once again. I love this baffle. They even tried chewing it but gave that up right quick. I give this baffle 5 stars. Oh and they tried trying to jump to the feeder but the baffle was in the way. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solution to keep squirrels out of the feeder. I wish you had a 24 inch but the 21 inch is doing the job.

Just the Baffle I was looking for!!

I purchased the beautiful green fluted squirrel baffle from Nature Niche a couple of months ago, and I must say that I just LOVE it!
It is handsome, sturdy, and does just what it needs to do in keeping those adorable but pesky squirrels (and other nighttime marauders) away from the bird feeder, plus it adds visual interest to the birdfeeder.
It is easy to clean with a spray of the hose, as various droppings will accumulate on top of the baffle. However, unlike baffles I have used in the past, the surface coating of this baffle is so smooth and well-applied, the soil just slides off with spraying.
The baffle does have a fairly hefty weight, so it needs to be hung on an appropriate cord or chain for safety.
It was easy to assemble for use. I highly recommend this attractive and useful product to bird & animal lovers everywhere.
