This feeder is made for birds with strong feet, (nuthatches, chickadees, titmice, finches and woodpeckers) who grip surfaces and run up and down tree trunks to find insects or food, and do not require places to perch and eat.

Extremely easy to use, just slide 3 cylinders onto the sturdy steel Cylinder Feeder and hang. Since your birds are not limited to a few seed ports, it is common to see a dozen birds at once on this feeder.
