Stoneware pieces are individually handmade using actual leaves from native trees, in this case the most lovely Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana), that the artist collects herself (many from her own garden). Each piece is then bisque-fired, glazed, high-fired, and finished by the artist personally, making each one a unique work of art. (Slight variations in color and size will occur.)
