As we continue our native plant sale this week, I thought it would be fun to share some background on the business that produces the plants, Wildtype in Mason, Michigan. Owner, founder, mentor, and friend, Bill Schneider shares his story of why he started the business and what services they offer to a wide variety of clientele. The largest native plant nursery in Michigan, Wildtype as a business also offers site assessment, invasive species management, native plant installation and landscape maintenance, and custom growing and seed collecting.
