Mondays with Martha #257 - Forest Therapy

This week I share my first experience with forest therapy, a technique inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, forest bathing or "taking in the forest atmosphere." This way of interacting with nature has myriad health benefits, including reduced stress, boosted immune system, improved mood, and lowered blood pressure. Special thanks to the Mid-Mitten Chapter of Wild Ones for organizing this event, Elysium Heritage Farm for hosting, and Corrine Bloomfield of Chippewa Nature Center for guiding us through a peaceful and restorative experience!
