Tittabawassee Floodplain Preserve Video

Mondays with Martha #253 - Tittabawassee Floodplain Preserve

This week I do some ecological time traveling to show you a local restoration project, the Tittabawassee Floodplain Preserve, when newly seeded in 2022 and three years later as the native vegetation has matured, providing important habitat for native pollinators, grassland birds, and other wildlife species. Special thanks to Lisa Williams for being our project guide and Rita Seston and Jeanne Henderson for their help filming and observing the site's restoration progress.

If you're local to the Midland/Freeland, Michigan area, come join the Mid-Mitten Wild Ones Chapter for an in-person field tour on Monday August 11th, 2025 at 6:30pm.
