Mondays with Martha #250 - Shady Acres Campground Part 1: Pollinator Projects

This week I share some marvelous pollinator-focused projects in a business landscape near Jackson, Michigan, Shady Acres Campground, owned by Connie Spotts. An educator extraordinaire and lifelong learner, Connie shows us around the property she has been stewarding for nearly 50 years and shares how the inclusion of key host plants, pollen and nectar plants, supplemental rearing, and tunnel-nesting bee habitat structures help support our native pollinators!

She had so much to share that I'm doing a series of posts, so look for more info about native cavity nesting bird boxes, purple martin colonies, and general tips and tricks for coexisting with our native flora and fauna in our working landscapes. Thank you so much, Connie!
