Mondays with Martha #235 - Michigan Rare Species Regulation

This week I share a topic near and dear to my heart, the regulation and protection of Michigan's rare flora and fauna. Learn about Michigan's endangered species law, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024. I review what, by law, you shouldn't do to rare species and what you can do to help support our state's threatened, endangered, and special concern species. Special thanks to Tracy Anderson, Mike Nelson, and Rita Seston for letting me share some of their rare species photography!
