In honor of National Moth Week, I share the story of rearing Giant Leopard Moths from eggs last summer. Learn about the life history of this gorgeous tiger moth species, whose very charismatic caterpillars are also known as Giant Woolly Bears. I owe a very big thank you to my friend and fellow naturalist, Rita Seston, for finding the eggs and helping me keep 90+ voracious caterpillars fed and cared for all last summer and fall!
