We live in the Midwest. We have a wooded lot with lots of bird traffic.it was our great joy to watch nest after nest of Cardinals fledge this summer. Dad Cardinal would bring the new little ones to branches near the seed cylinder and he would he the seed and then feed them. Eventually the little ones would fly to the seed cylinder to feed themselves.

A really great attraction for the birds!!

The Mr. Bird Bugs Nuts Fruit & Seed cylinders are really great! It attracts a large variety of birds & they really love it! It's lasting a bit longer because of the cold weather - a lot of the birds have migrated for the winter - but woodpeckers, jays, cardinals, chickadees are enjoying it greatly right now. It's funny watching the squirrels trying to get around the baffles to reach the cylinder - they have to content themselves with whatever falls from above when the birds are there. It's not unusual to have 2 or 3 birds on the cylinder at the same time. Definitely going to purchase again!!
