The Squirrel Buster Plus keeps out squirrels and some nuisance birds by using an adjustable weight mechanism that closes access to the seed. Features seed tube ventilation to keep seed fresher, adjustable perches and attachable cardinal ring. Disassembles for cleaning, is chew and rust-proof, with a 3 quart seed capacity (~5.1 lbs) and Lifetime Care. It was voted BEST squirrel-proof bird feeder by Popular Science.

To make it truly squirrel-proof for adult red and gray squirrels (please note that juvenile red squirrels and chipmunks can sometimes access seed due to their light weight), observe the manufacturer's stated installation clearances, e.g. install the feeder with 18" of clearance between top of feeder and the branch it is hanging on, 18" of clearance from launching points below the feeder, and 18" radius of clearance around the sides of the feeder.

Love Squirrel Buster Plus!

This is my second one; I still have my first one. Just wanted another one. They're great feeders and worth every penny. Brome stands behind their products and have great instructional videos. They come apart very quickly and easily for cleaning; the first time was a little longer but the video is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has squirrels.

Squirrel buster review

We are enjoying watching the birds enjoying our Squirrel Buster Plus. The squirrels truly cannot get onto this feeder! Very good product.

Please check & tighten bottom screw

Regrettably, the screw on the bottom came loose and almost decapitated a house finch. Poor thing was found dead with its head stuck inside. Other than that incident I have had no problems. Definitely keeps the squirrels from dumping the whole feeder.

Yes, it's important to tighten everything up during the first installation and keep checking and retightening with each refill, so all the parts function properly. They are great to work with under the feeder's lifetime warranty and will get you new parts, if needed.

Great sturdy bird feeder

This is a great bird feeder that is squirrel proof,
It is very sturdy and holds a lot of seed so you don’t have to refill every day. Very pleased with this purchase!
