June 2023 Native Plant Sale - National Pollinator Week

Welcome to the information page for the second of three native plant sales scheduled for the 2023 growing season! Want to create quality habitat for birds, bats, bees, butterflies, moths, and other beneficial insects? Come celebrate National Pollinator Week with us and find some awesome native plant species naturally adapted to your landscape!  We're starting Friday June 16, so you can do some shopping for Father's Day, too!

We are very excited to help you select native plants on Friday June 16 through Saturday June 24.  We will not be open Sunday June 18.  Hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm

Selected especially for the Midland area, the sale will feature 70+ species of native wildflowers, grasses, sedges, vines, shrubs, and trees that provide quality habitat for our native pollinators, birds, and other wildlife species.  These native plants are of Michigan or Great Lakes Region genotype and were procured through Wildtype Native Plant Nursery in Mason, Michigan. The table linked  below outlines the species we plan to offer and where best to plant them. Printed copies are available in-store.  Please stop by to pick up a list to help you plan prior to the plant sale.

Native plants provide better wildlife habitat and make a greater visual impact when planted in multiples.  We will again be offering a 5% discount when purchasing 6 or more plants!

The sale will occur at our retail location at 2004 W. Wackerly St. Midland, MI and will be held outside along the east side of our building.  Bring your native plant questions, and we'll have native plant and pollinator enthusiasts ready to assist you with choosing the right plants for your landscape.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

If you have any questions, send us an email at naturenichemi@gmail.com or give us a call at 989-423-1477.
