2020 Trees for Bees, Birds, & Butterflies Native Plant Sale

Midland Michigan 2020 native plant sale

Welcome to the information page on our first 2020 native plant sale! The plan was to have our sale in late April to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. However, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, those plans have changed!

We intend to hold our first sale on Friday May 8th 10am-6pm and Saturday May 9th 10am-4pm. We hold a Registered Nursery Stock Dealer's license with the state, which allows us to be open under the new stay at home order as a garden store.

Selected especially for the Midland area, the sale will feature approximately 23 species of native trees and shrubs that provide quality habitat for our native pollinators, birds, and other wildlife species.  These native woody plants are of Michigan genotype and were procured through Wildtype Native Plant Nursery in Mason, Michigan. The table below outlines the species we plan to offer, their wildlife habitat benefits, where to plant them, and pricing.

The sale will occur at our retail location at 2004 W. Wackerly St. Midland, MI and will be held outside at the north end of our parking lot.  Social distancing will be required, and we're not accepting cash payments for our safety and yours. If you chose to enter our indoor retail area, there will be a 3-customer limit at any given time. You will also be required to wear a face mask indoors.  Please remember to bring your plant questions, face mask, and credit card.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

If you have any questions, send us an email at sales@nature-niche.com or give us a call at 989-423-1477.
