Good mix

This is a pretty good mix of seeds. Lots of birds coming to my feeders (squirrels too!). One thing I do not understand is why bird seed manufacturer's use white millet. I have never had a bird like it, not that I can tell. But everyone seems just fine with plain black oil sunflower seeds and/or peanuts. (Or suet for the woodpeckers.)

Thanks for the feedback, Kathryn! We include ~10% white millet in our house blend at the recommendation of the experts at Lizzie Mae's. Many small-beaked ground-feeding birds prefer it as a favorite food, including quail, doves, juncos, sparrows, towhees, buntings, goldfinches, and red-winged blackbirds per the National Audubon Society and Cornell Lab of Ornithology. In an attempt to offer a well balanced mix that has 'something for everyone,' we've included white millet at a low percentage. Mixes with high percentages of millet and other less preferred filler seeds often result in these seeds being left behind and can lead to unhealthy mold issues and wasted money, so they should be avoided. Hope that helps!

Birds Love It!

The birdseed is loved by my birds and it attracts a wide variety of birds. I have chickadees, finches, wrens, juncos, etc. flocking to it daily. Highly recommend this seed.

Good but———

Mixed seed with other as I thought it too heavy with sunflower seed. Loved your store and have told others.
