Welcome to the information page for the first of three native plant sales scheduled for the 2021 growing season! Let's spring into stewardship and be habitat heroes by providing pollinators and other wildlife with the native plants they need to thrive!
We are very excited to kick off our second year of native plant sales on Friday May 21st through Saturday May 29th. We will not be open Sunday May 23rd. Hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm.
Selected especially for the Midland area, the sale will feature 60+ species of native wildflowers, grasses, ferns, shrubs, and trees that provide quality habitat for our native pollinators, birds, and other wildlife species. These native plants are of Michigan or Great Lakes Region genotype and were procured through Wildtype Native Plant Nursery in Mason, Michigan. The table below outlines the species we plan to offer and where best to plant them.
The sale will occur at our retail location at 2004 W. Wackerly St. Midland, MI and will be held outside along the east side of our building. Social distancing will be required. We are offering payment by credit card outside, if desired. If you choose to enter our store, you will be required to wear a face mask indoors. Please remember to bring your plant questions, face mask, and credit card. We look forward to seeing you soon!
