Mondays with Martha #182 - The Future of the Forest: Seedlings and Saplings

Inspired by my nephew Lincoln to do an educational post about baby trees, we venture into Miller Woods to explore the forest groundcover and understory, looking for seedlings and saplings. We discuss environmental factors that are often limiting to these young plants, how you can determine what the future of the forest is, and what actions you can take to help shape the outcome for better ecosystem health and wildlife habitat.
