Foxglove and Hairy Beardtongue Video

Mondays with Martha #161 - Foxglove and Hairy Beardtongue

This week I share two wonderful June-blooming wildflowers that support pollinators in my own back yard: Foxglove beardtongue (Penstemon digitalis) and Hairy beardtongue (Penstemon hirsutus). Both species are quite adaptable and make great additions to rain gardens and hummingbird and other pollinator gardens, helping to fill that June lull in blooms. Enjoy the happy bumble bee noises at the end and the fun shots of bumble bee butts sticking out of the tubular flowers!
