Pieces are typically created “2 for 1,” which results in mirror images with one brighter color and the other a darker or “saddened” color. Tannin-rich leaves are placed on one piece of fabric; it is then covered with another piece of fabric the same size that has been dipped in an iron-water solution. This fabric sandwich is then rolled on a wooden dowel rod, wrapped tightly with an ace bandage, and then steamed for 2-3 hours. The leaves imprint on the fabric, discharging various colors.  Unfortunately, not all leaves will work with this process, but the ones that do are magical!\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Cedar Cottage Fiberworks","offers":[{"title":"No Dye - Sumac\/Grevillea\/Scented Geranium\/Eucalyptus\/Smoke Bush\/Baptisia","offer_id":71541496414461,"sku":"CCF-TR-ST-NoDye","price":40.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"Lac - Sumac\/Scented Geranium\/Eucalyptus\/Smoke Bush\/Baptisia","offer_id":71541496447229,"sku":"CCF-TR-ST-Lac","price":40.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"Weld - Sumac\/Grevillea\/Scented Geranium\/Eucalyptus\/Smoke Bush\/ Baptisia","offer_id":71541496479997,"sku":"CCF-TR-ST-Weld","price":40.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0270\/4008\/8136\/files\/silktwilltrnodye1.jpg?v=1791912986","url":"https:\/\/nature-niche.com\/products\/table-runner-leaves-silk-twill","provider":"Nature Niche","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
