woodpecker suet with tail prop

My birds love it. I have more species eating here than on my old cage suet feeder.

I love the new tail prop suet feeder and so do my downy and red bellied woodpeckers. I like that it is made from recycled material. Excellent quality and weather resistant.

I have only offered an inverted woodpecker feeder for a long time (it was a gift) and the smaller downy and hairy use it constantly. The larger red-bellied woodpecker and our northern flickers used it but not often. We purchased this tail prop feeder and put it up today and it’s a hit with all of our woodpeckers! The larger species seem much more comfortable with this feeder and have visited it multiple times already just today.
On a more practical note, the feeder is a quality build and looks like it will be easy to clean and sanitize - more so than a wood feeder. We love it!

I bought this as a gift and sent directly, but giftee reports that the product is high quality, and that the birds love it, especially the woodpeckers. Really reasonable price as well.
