Registration Fee for "Breaking Down" the Basics of Composting - 2022
Learn about composting and turn household waste into gardener’s gold! Free up space in our local landfills, while creating organic matter to add to your garden or containers. We will explore which methods, containers, and compostable materials are ideal to avoid a stinky mess and help you decide which is best for your home and garden.
The class will occur at our retail location at 2004 W. Wackerly St. Midland, MI from 6-7pm on Monday October 24th. Approximately 45-50 minutes will be dedicated to this presentation, followed by a general Q&A session.
Our speaker, Debbie Anderson, is an avid gardener with a passion for a sustainable lifestyle. With a background in biology and forest ecology, she uses her knowledge and skills to educate others on a variety of garden topics as the Program and Volunteer Manager at Dow Gardens.
