Ordered 3; 1 fell apart

I purchased these as they are supposedly tasty for most of my visiting birds, but not to the flock of Red-winged blackbirds that were decimating my other stackers. The first package I opened crumbled into large chunks. I put up the other 2, but they are only eaten by the house finches and a few lesser goldfinch. My Nuttall's Woodpeckers and White Breasted Nuthatches completely reject it. Also, a pair of Red-wings didn't get the memo and are eating these, just not very enthusiastically. I wouldn't purchase these again due to the limited birds they attract. (I'm in Ojai, California)

Safflower seed cylinder

I like the safflower because it lasts10 times longer than other seed cylinders. The starlings and grackles don't care for it and it still attracts the cardinals and woodpeckers.

Good birds, like it, mostly finches and cardinals and nuthatches are feeding off of it.

Doesn't Attract Undesireable Hordes of Starlings & Etc.

This is a great product at a very good price. Cardinals, finches tit mice and woodpeckers love it. So good that I ordered a 12 pack of these cylinders. More on this shipment later as there was damage and problems in shipping the case of 12 that is now in resolution. The order of 2 were shipped timely and received in great condition.
