The Frogilo is a stylish Summer and Winter home for frogs, toads, and other amphibians. This safe shelter will protect from predators and garden tools, as well as being a cozy and cooling place to live through-out the year.

Handmade in frost-resistant ceramic with a green decorative glazed ‘tagine’ style roof.

Installation
Site Wildlife World's Frogilo near a pond or damp area in a quiet, cool, shaded position. The partially cutaway base allows contact with the damp soil for cooler summer conditions as a result. Also, toads and female frogs will use the insulating ceramic shelf as over-wintering quarters. Cover the Frogilo with extra vegetation in winter to provide additional protection.

No other maintenance is necessary.

A quality product

Designed by someone who knows toads. Nice looking with tips for winter use. The shelf is a great addition. Our toad ("George") is quite fond of it.

The frog house looks nice and sturdy, should last for awhile. It is just as described and pictured. I bought it for my 7 yr old grandson since he loves finding, frogs, lizards, grasshoppers, etc. in the yard. I now have second thoughts about the frog house. What if he picks it up looking for a frog and finds a snake?

I think the frog house offers an important learning opportunity for your grandson: whenever we pick up or handle either an artificial wildlife habitat or a natural one, like rolling over a log, it's important to be careful and be prepared to find all kinds of creatures. For the frog house, it should be easy enough to scan inside with a flashlight visually before touching or moving the house.
