Fits Well

Fits my spiral SongBird Essentials nyjer seed feeder well and is easy to put on. However, it has only 4 tiny drainage holes and could benefit from more.

Seed tray

Works great keeping some of the seed from the finch feeder from spilling onto the ground. I did have husband drill extra drain holes in tray.

like the tray

good idea and I like the tray put a few holes in it to let rainwater drain through would be helpful. I had a bit of a hard time threading it on the tube (getting it started) maybe it was just me.

Thank you for your feedback! The tray is designed with 4 holes for drainage right where the angled edge meets the flat part of the tray. Please let us know if your tray does not have these, and we can contact the manufacturer on your behalf.

A necessary feeder accessory

This tray is saving my feeder from overwhelming loss and waste of seeds. I wish the feeder itself was designed to prevent waste of seeds, but until that happens this tray is essential and worth every penny.

Thank you for your feedback. These trays are designed to be compatible with Songbird Essentials' Birdquest feeders, e.g. tube feeders with the spiral perch. If you have a different type of feeder, the tray will likely not fit correctly.
