Best idea ever

The tray saves the seeds the birds throw out. Keeps my patio cleaner. Have had as many as 10 birds on feeder perches and around the tray. I really like the set-up

Retrofitted Tube Solution Seed Tray to existing Tube Feeder

Have an American made Tube Feeder and two squirrels jumped it and busted it due to their combined weight. I was unable to find feed tray US manufacturer, Nature Niche had this China made Feed Tray. I was able to make it work, I used an clear plastic insulated drinking mug from a secondhand store that I cut to fit the bottom of the existing tray.

We are glad to hear the seed tray worked for your existing feeder. Yes, those squirrels can be real acrobats! We do recommend to our customers that you place your pole-mounted feeders 8-10' away from railings, roofs or trees and baffle the pole if you have persistent squirrels emptying your feeders.
