These cylinders are so nice. They attract a large variety of birds to my yard!

More Bang for Your Buck!

I love these safflower logs, as well as the fruit medley logs that I purchase from this same site. They last a long time and I see a good variety of birds enjoying them. The safflower last longer than the other seed logs, but eventually the entire thing is consumed . Saves me on refilling birdfeeders, although I still have a couple of feeders that I use for different loose seed. Good purchase!

So much less waste!

I love these seed cylinders! Because the birds were throwing so much seed on the ground, I was wasting seed and constantly having to refill them. I even had seedlings from the seed springing up in my mulch...including a full sized sunflower! The seed cylinders resolved that issue. They attract the birds...particularly the woodpeckers...and last so much longer. The cardinals...which generally prefer ground feeding in my yard, have now adapted to the seed cylinders and feeder. I was able to repurpose an old glass/copper feeder where the glass had broken, and fit the seed cylinder over the center attachment. Voila! An instant very attractive seed cylinder. I will be purchasing more cylinders in the future besides the safflower, but the safflower attracts nicer birds while keeping away the birds that don't like the safflower. The difference is the seed is not just tossed on the ground in protest!
